Marketing Agency Seeks Contract Marketing Strategist

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced B2B Digital Marketing Strategist to support our efforts in the Enterprise Technology space. The specific role will work within fintech, edge computing, AI, networking, software, hardware, and security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing end-to-end B2B digital marketing strategies. You will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the agency’s strategy and planning offering on behalf of clients.
Currently, we see this as a part-time contract position that is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive B2B digital marketing strategies tailored to enterprise technology clients with specific emphasis on fintech, edge computing, AI, networking, software, hardware, and security
- Client Leadership: Lead the strategic side of engagements with clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and ultimately report on performance
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of B2B multi-channel plans for clients—including content, creative, and sales enablement
- Messaging Strategy: Develop B2B messaging strategies in support of client projects and programs, as well as for products, solutions, and at times, for entire BUs
- Content Strategy & Planning: Lead the ideation and execution of yearly and quarterly content plans that align with client goals and industry trends
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—especially account and project management, editorial content, and creative—to deliver cohesive and effective marketing
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure optimal results; this may include working with outside partners for performance measurement, audience profiles, and metric reporting
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a B2B Marketing Strategist or similar role
- Extensive experience in the Enterprise Technology space
- Solid experience with fintech, edge computing, AI, networking, software, hardware, and security (or a combination of a few of these)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Experience in creating messaging, marketing, and content strategies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills (as with all strategists’ roles, this is client-facing and includes a good portion of performance art in how you present)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background emphasis on B2B enterprise technology industries is required
- Agency experience required
