Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will play a key role in driving Immunovia's growth and market presence. This position combines strategy, product management and marketing to launch and scale the PancreaSure test. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the healthcare and diagnostics landscape, coupled with a proven track record of driving product volume and revenue.
This position reports directly to the CEO and will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment across commercialization, clinical affairs, payer markets and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Immunovia's mission and growth objectives. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- Product management: Lead the cross-functional launch of PancreaSure. Drive growth post-launch through targeted initiatives and strong commercial execution.
- Messaging and sales support: Develop and enhance PancreaSure messaging to increase impact with physicians. Create sales materials and tools.
- Sales support: Partner with the CEO and sales operations manager to develop our selling strategy for PancreaSure, including targeting and coverage plans. Support selling efforts by Immunovia reps and commercialization partners.
- Awareness: Drive awareness of PancreaSure among physicians and high-risk individuals through conferences, digital marketing, advocacy groups and other tactics.
- PR: Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to develop a robust calendar of consistent news. Secure earned media placements in media.
- Digital marketing and lead generation: Build a lead-generation and conversion engine to drive PancreaSure volume through digital marketing. Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, content marketing, and online advertising.
- Advocacy: Nurture productive relationships with patient advocacy groups like PanCAN, FORCE, NPF, Hirshberg Foundation, and others. Leverage these relationships to drive PancreaSure awareness and to advocate for payer reimbursement of the test.
- Market access support: Partner with the VP of Market Access and Reimbursement to create marketing and materials to promote PancreaSure to payers.
- Collaboration and team leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical and medical affairs, sales, market access, lab and IT to successfully execute initiatives. Manage external agencies, marketing consultants and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing or product management within the life sciences industry. Diagnostics experience preferred.
- Track record of driving volume and revenue growth and successful initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
