Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vertical Marketing Manager to own go-to-market efforts across key industry segments. This role is responsible for repackaging our data capabilities into differentiated, solution-oriented offerings tailored to the specific needs of vertical markets (e.g., healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles, etc.). You will collaborate with sales, product, and content teams to drive demand, elevate brand presence, and enable account growth within your assigned verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Segment Strategy: Develop and execute vertical-specific marketing plans that align our capabilities with the most pressing needs and pain points of target industries.
- Solution Packaging: Translate the Ango Hub platform and its broad capabilities, into vertical-specific value propositions, messaging, and solution bundles that resonate with technical and business decision-makers.
- Go-to-Market Planning & Execution: Lead integrated campaigns, field programs, and sales enablement initiatives that generate awareness, pipeline, and customer engagement in key verticals.
- Voice of the Market: Conduct research and gather insights from customers, partners, analysts, and field teams to understand market dynamics, buyer personas, and competitive landscapes.
- Content Leadership: Create and guide the development of thought leadership, case studies, solution briefs, and customer-facing assets tailored to vertical audiences.
- Sales Enablement: Develop collateral including demos, explainer videos, one-sheets, white papers, infographics, case studies, use cases, testimonials and presentations that enable Sales to be successful. Assist Sales by providing expertise in specific sales situations, whether it be the creation of discovery questions, playbooks or objection handling.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure vertical alignment across the organization.
- Performance Measurement: Track, analyze, and report on vertical marketing performance, using insights to refine strategy and optimize execution.
- Growth Potential: This role will start as an individual contributor and leader, but it has potential for growth by showing an impact on the success of our GTM. iMerit will continue to build expertise in vertical market segments and this could expand into a broader role that develops a team to accomplish that.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B solution marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, data services, or AI/ML ecosystems.
- Comfortable navigating technical topics such as: big data, machine learning and/or artificial intelligence
- Proven track record of creating and executing vertical marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Strong ability to synthesize technical capabilities into customer-centric messaging.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, continuous learning and a highly dynamic market.
Nice to Have
- Industry knowledge or marketing experience in one or more of the following verticals: healthcare, automotive and tech.
- Understanding of ethical AI, data governance, and compliance requirements in regulated industries.
