Job Title – Software Apps Engineer II

Overview of the team: We are a very small team and this person will be a key for the team success
Key team goals: Web development with latest technologies and Cloud systems
Key projects or initiatives for the role:
• Web development
• Experience with software engineering processes, tools, methods, test development
• Experience with one or more Front End engineering skills including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
• Experience with Drupal will be plus
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. Node.js, or React, Astro)
• Experience with GitHub and ability to solving conflicts
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Experience in all aspects of software development including architecture and design, implementation and production support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, e.g., the ability to explain the work in plain language
• Execution experience in fast-paced environments and performance driven culture
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams
• Self-starter, team player
Must-have skills/qualifications (technical, soft skills, certifications, tools):
• As a Front End Software Engineer, you will specialize in building high performance, scalable, cross-browser compatible, accessible and elegant web applications with React.js, Node.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, Jest, Enzyme and other technologies.
• You will work hand in hand with world-class teams of other software engineers and architects as well as backend engineers.
Ideal experience level (years, leadership, industries): 6 to 7 years
Desired personality or work style: Candidate should be available online and active communicator. Also, during any emergency anytime.

Important Note: Candidates Flexibility
We’re looking for someone highly flexible and dependable. The role requires a full 8-hour workday, but due to tight timelines, every hour is critical. For example, Person have work from 9 AM to 3 PM but nothing after that but we need an additional 1–2 hours of support after 8 PM (during any outages or pending work). The ideal candidate must be responsive, adaptable, and reliable, as the team will depend heavily on their availability and commitment.
Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly):
• Work in an agile environment where we ship features frequently to create user delight
• Collaborate with teams across product, design, engineering, and quality to drive past the status quo
• Ensure quality of codebase by writing tests and doing code reviews
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use
• Build next generation applications for desktop and mobile browsers with an emphasis on emotional experiences and constant attention to scalability, performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
