The Role:

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll help us build and scale IhaCo’s platform — including our AI recruiter tools, client dashboards, and internal automation systems. From backend logic to sleek frontend interfaces, you’ll touch every layer of our stack and play a key role in shaping our tech and product roadmap.

This is a remote position, but you must be based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and tools
Build secure APIs and robust backend systems to power automation, analytics, and user dashboards
Create clean, intuitive frontend interfaces that enhance client and internal workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, operations, and product teams to release features quickly
Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong documentation and test coverage
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration processes
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the application stack

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of professional experience in software development
Proficient in Node.js, Python, or another modern backend language
Strong knowledge of React, Vue, or Angular and modern frontend development
Experience with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
Solid understanding of application security and performance best practices
Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
