Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Staff Software Engineer:

Lead complex software development initiatives, demonstrating active coding responsibilities within Python and FastAPI
Leverage proficiency in Python and FastAPI
Develop scalable and resilient applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Docker
Adhere to software engineering principles and practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Build and maintain large-scale systems, demonstrating the ability to handle projects of significant complexity and scale withing Python and FastAPI

Required Skills for Staff Software Engineer:

7+ years of proven experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a startup environment
Extensive experience in software development, with proficiency in Python and FastAPI, and ideally with GO, Rust, or Java
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Docker
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for understanding and simplifying complex systems
