Responsibilities:
- Design and build resilient, scalable back-end services for data-centric clinical and analytic applications using cloud computing, big data, and machine learning frameworks.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and various teams to translate requirements into code, participate in design and architecture discussions, and effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders.
- Develop services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, and machine learning. Ensure comprehensive documentation, participate in DevOps and Agile practices, and perform expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Lead targeted cross-functional improvement efforts, mentor junior software engineers, solve complex problems, and independently lead projects or project steps within broader initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Associate's degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience in GCP, specifically Cloud Run, Linux, Python, and Azure DevOps
- 4+ years of experience with Google Cloud, API architectures, VSCode, Veracode, Prisma Cloud
- GCP Certification is a huge plus
