Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst

Overview:

Our client, a global leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives. This role is part of a high-impact team that partners with departments across the organization — from revenue and marketing to executive leadership — to deliver actionable insights through dashboards, data visualizations, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using <strong>MicroStrategy, Tableau</strong>, and <strong>SQL</strong>

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting needs

Develop and curate datasets using <strong>ETL tools</strong> like <strong>Alteryx</strong> and <strong>Informatica</strong>

Ensure <strong>data accuracy and quality</strong> through automation, monitoring, and validation

Optimize queries and schemas within <strong>Amazon Redshift</strong> and other data platforms

Provide <strong>ad hoc analysis</strong>, training, and support for business users and analysts

Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and product teams to maintain BI infrastructure

  
  
  
  
  
<strong>Key Qualifications:</strong>

    5+ years in BI, data analytics, or reporting roles

    Proficient in <strong>SQL</strong> and experienced with <strong>data modeling, warehousing, and ETL</strong>

    Hands-on experience with <strong>MicroStrategy, Tableau</strong>, and/or <strong>Power BI</strong>
    
      
      
    
*     
    
    Experience working with large datasets in tools like <strong>Amazon Redshift, Hive, or SQL Server</strong>
    
      
      
    
*     
    
    Familiar with <strong>Agile</strong>, <strong>data governance</strong>, and <strong>BI lifecycle management</strong>
