About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Core Java Developer with strong Oracle Database expertise for a long-term engagement with a US Fortune 500 financial client.

This is a high-impact role where you'll work on scalable backend systems, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Core Java
• Design and optimize Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and triggers
• Work on performance tuning and database optimization
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements
• Participate in code reviews and SDLC processes

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core Java (OOP, Java 8+)
• Deep understanding of Collections & Multithreading
• Strong knowledge of JVM internals (memory management, GC)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database
• Expertise in SQL & PL/SQL (joins, subqueries, stored procedures)
• Experience in query optimization & performance tuning
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of SDLC and coding best practices

Ideal Candidate

• 7–9 years of relevant experience
• Strong backend engineering mindset
• Experience in financial domain (preferred, not mandatory)
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred
