Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support and evolve our homegrown web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with hands-on experience working with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, and Tabulator. The role involves maintaining and enhancing existing systems, ensuring their robustness, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Support and develop web applications primarily built with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, and Tabulator;
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases;
• Deploy and maintain web infrastructure using Ansible;
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with continuous integration and version control (GIT);
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Understand and improve deployment pipelines and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4+ years of experience in web application development with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX;
• Solid knowledge of MySQL database management;
• Experience with deploying web services and infrastructure provisioning with Ansible;
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies;
• Strong version control skills, especially GIT;
• Understanding of web infrastructure, hosting, and server management;
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Perl and/or Python;
• Experience with Tabulator;
• Experience with enterprise-scale projects;
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, Gitlab CI.
