Freelance Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Odoo Developer with 3.5 -9 years of proven expertise in customising, developing, and implementing Odoo ERP systems. The ideal candidate should have experience working with both Community and Enterprise editions and be confident in developing custom modules, configuring PostgreSQL, and integrating third-party solutions.

Roles &Responsibilities:

•Customize and enhance Manufacturing (MRP) and Accounting modules based on business workflows.

• Develop and maintain custom Odoo modules to bridge functional gaps.

• Set up and configure PostgreSQL databases optimized for Odoo performance.

• Integrate third-party modules or tools relevant to finance, reporting, or production.

• Analyze business processes and map them to Odoo capabilities for end-to-end solutions.

• Support end-users with technical issues and system enhancements.

• Provide technical documentation and participate in testing and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.

• Proven experience with both Odoo Manufacturing (MRP) and Accounting modules.

• Strong knowledge of Python, Odoo ORM, XML, QWeb, and JavaScript.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and server configuration for Odoo environments.

• Familiarity with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.

• Worked with Odoo versions such as v12, v14, v16, V17,V18.

• Comfortable developing custom modules and modifying existing ones.

• Clear understanding of manufacturing flows: BOMs, routings, work orders, cost structures.

• Experience with financial flows: chart of accounts, journal entries, taxes, reconciliation, reports.
