Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Remote, must work EST hours)
Location: Remote (must supply dual monitors and docking station)
Estimated Overtime: Minimal, with occasional variability based on project needs
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Experience: 2–4 years in a marketing communications role, preferably within healthcare or highly regulated industries
- Tools & Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with Canva or similar drag-and-drop design platforms
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Workzone or similar)
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Sitecore or equivalent)
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across print and digital media
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for marketing materials
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, write, and edit internal and external communications across multiple channels (print, digital, social media, OOH, etc.)
- Ensure brand tone, voice, and style guidelines are consistently met
- Coordinate production, distribution, and vendor management for communication materials
- Partner with internal departments to assess and support their marketing communication needs
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements for all published content
- Support event planning, grassroots outreach, and collaboration with community-based organizations
- Develop presentations and marketing collateral as needed
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with attention to deadlines and quality
Preferred Experience:
- Background in healthcare, Medicaid, or Medicare marketing within a managed care or health plan environment
- Previous experience working within regulated industries or with government programs
