Senior App & Web UX Designer (Healthcare) – Contract / Milestone-Based (Remote)

We are looking for a highly experienced UX Designer to help design modern, intuitive, and scalable user experiences for our healthcare technology platform across mobile apps and web applications.

This is a contract-based, milestone-driven, fully remote role. For someone who can independently lead UX strategy, user flows, and interface design for complex healthcare workflows.

Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, modern, and scalable user experiences for mobile and web platforms
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Translate complex healthcare workflows into simple, usable interfaces
• Improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience across products
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to align UX with technical feasibility
• Design responsive interfaces across mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI patterns
• Optimize workflows for doctors, staff, patients, and healthcare operations
• Independently drive UX decisions with minimal supervision

Required Experience

• Strong experience designing UX for both mobile apps and web applications
• Proven portfolio of production-grade UX/UI work (must be shared)
• Strong understanding of modern UX principles, interaction design, and usability
• Expertise with Figma or equivalent design tools
• Experience in wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into clean, intuitive user journeys
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving product environment

Preferred

• Healthcare / EMR / EHR / Hospital Management / HealthTech experience
• Experience designing SaaS or enterprise workflow-heavy applications
• Understanding of accessibility and responsive design best practices
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments
• Experience using AI/GenAI tools to enhance design workflows
