As part of this role, you’ll help shape every aspect of our software. It’s a challenging position that will require creative problem-solving to support our ambitious product and growth roadmap.

💼 About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll design and develop scalable, reliable backend systems that serve thousands of users daily. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern software solutions that empower our business teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• 🧱 Build and improve backend features in a clean, organized way
• 🧠 Design scalable, maintainable system architecture
• 💻 Write clean, efficient, testable code in Golang
• 🤝 Collaborate with the product team to deliver business-aligned solutions
• 🔍 Lead testing efforts, review code, and ensure high standards for quality & security
• 👩‍🏫 Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• 🗣️ Communicate clearly in a fully remote, agile environment

✅ What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves

• 🗨️ Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
• 💼 5+ years of backend development experience
• 👨‍💻 3+ years of hands-on Golang experience
• ⚙️ Solid understanding of distributed systems
• 🗄️ Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• 🐧 Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• 🧪 Familiar with writing unit and functional tests
• 🧩 Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• 🌐 Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• 📶 Stable internet & a quiet workspace for remote collaboration

Nice-to-Haves

• 🧵 Experience with GraphQL
• 🧠 Familiarity with Redis, RediSearch, or Elasticsearch
• ☁️ Knowledge of AWS or GCP
• 🛠️ Experience using CI/CD pipelines
• 🧬 Familiar with Gorm (ORM for Go)
• 🧪 Hands-on with end-to-end testing tools
• 🏗️ Knowledge of Clean Architecture, Hexagonal, or DDD
• 🤖 Experience with AI tools/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)
• 🧠 Interest in using AI for dev tasks
