Duties and Responsibilities:As a UX Designer, you are expected to demonstrate a strong ability for creating clean, precise and impactful visuals that demonstrate sound UX principles and deliver on the objectives set. Led by a UX Lead, you will be responsible for delivering a range of deliverables that continue a vision throughout the rest of the project, ensuring consistency and quality throughout. You will also play a key role in wider delivery squads, being the voice for creative across ongoing project workstreams. You will be comfortable in presenting and talking through your designs, evolving ideas, and providing solutions that meet the requirements of the client and internal development teams. In addition to working on longer term client projects, you will also be expected to support the wider team with smaller tasks from time to time, as and when is necessary. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to develop your own personal skills as a designer. You will seek to involve other members of the creative, product, and development teams into your own design process to ensure you design solutions that meet all necessary requirements. Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Participate in cross functional teams to bring clarity in all elements of UX Design ● Work with PO's tunderstand and break down ● Visualise new design solutions. ● Work with expert UI designers to design user interfaces across web and mobile ● Work closely with development teams to ensure that the design concept is implemented. ● Ensure the delivery of a consistent user experience across the product. ● Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually. ● Guide the design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules. ● Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers (business, service, UI and visual designers), brand strategists, project management, and hardware and software developers. ● Participate in scoping and estimation work along with sales and development leads. ● Participate in co-creation workshops with clients, end users and the team. ● Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications as necessary Required Skills ● Minimum of 3 years industry experience. ● Ability to discover, understand, and communicate the business requirement ● Knowledgeable of design patterns and how to apply them within a variety of contexts (vehicle, mobile, web, smartwatch etc.) ● Proficient in various methods of evaluating interfaces (both empirical & analytical). ● Experience with applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research. ● Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Marvel etc. ● Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc) ● Experience in Interaction Design, Information Architecture and Visual Design ● Knowledge of technology and the impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of modern web, mobile, and wearable technologies ● Excellent communication skills ● Great attention to detail ● Collaborative personality
