Location: Remote – United States
Employment: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 base + performance bonus
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Growth Marketing Manager to own and continuously improve marketing for two growing SaaS products: an AI-native ERP platform for manufacturers and an AI employee platform for businesses.
This is not a role focused on simply posting content or managing individual marketing tasks.
We already work with marketing specialists, contractors, and agencies across SEO, paid advertising, community management, content, reviews, and other channels. We need one person who takes ownership of the overall marketing strategy, manages these resources, analyzes what is working, identifies what is not working, and continuously develops new ideas to generate pipeline and customers.
You should be someone who wakes up thinking about how to grow the business.
What You Will Do
- Own the overall marketing strategy and execution across both products.
- Develop separate go-to-market strategies for B2B ERP and SMB/AI SaaS audiences.
- Manage external agencies, contractors, community managers, SEO specialists, designers, and advertising resources.
- Develop and manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, retargeting, SEO, content, community, review, and other acquisition strategies.
- Analyze marketing performance and determine where we should increase, reduce, or stop spending.
- Work closely with sales to improve lead quality and pipeline generation.
- Develop marketing campaigns around trade shows, vertical markets, product launches, and partnerships.
- Improve website messaging, landing pages, conversion rates, and positioning.
- Identify new acquisition channels and run experiments.
- Track CAC, CPL, qualified leads, conversions, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
- Review agency and contractor performance and hold vendors accountable.
- Create clear weekly priorities rather than waiting for management to assign tasks.
- Provide a concise weekly report covering results, lessons learned, problems, and next actions.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on digital or growth marketing experience.
- Experience marketing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, AI products, or similar technology products.
- Strong understanding of paid acquisition, SEO, content marketing, conversion optimization, and analytics.
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or internal marketing specialists.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort making decisions based on data.
- Ability to understand technical products and translate them into clear customer messaging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and comfortable working remotely.
- Comfortable challenging existing strategies when the data suggests a better direction.
- Strong ownership mentality.
Especially Valuable
- Experience marketing B2B enterprise technology.
- Experience with PLG or SMB SaaS.
- Experience with Shopify or QuickBooks ecosystems.
- Experience with trade-show marketing and post-event lead nurturing.
- Experience building marketing functions at an early-stage startup.
How We Measure Success
We care more about business results than activity.
Success will be measured using metrics such as:
- Qualified leads and opportunities generated
- Marketing-sourced pipeline
- Customer acquisition cost
- Cost per qualified lead
- Website and landing-page conversion rates
- Paid customer growth
- Performance improvements by marketing channel
- Quality and performance of agencies and contractors
- Successful marketing experiments and lessons learned
We do not measure success based primarily on impressions, followers, number of posts, or hours spent working.
How We Work
This is a remote position with significant independence.
We are not looking to monitor every hour of your day. Instead, we expect clear priorities, measurable results, proactive communication, and strong ownership.
You will work closely with the CEO, sales team, product team, and other marketing resources. Meetings and discussions may be scheduled at any time as needed to review campaigns, solve problems, develop new ideas, coordinate execution, or respond quickly to opportunities.
You will also regularly review:
- What is working and what is not
- Marketing performance and key metrics
- New opportunities and experiments
- Problems that need immediate attention
- Priorities and next actions
We want someone who proactively communicates, brings ideas, identifies problems early, and works closely with the team rather than waiting for assignments.
Compensation
Base salary: $60,000 per year
Performance-based compensation will be available based on measurable marketing and business results.
This role has the opportunity to grow into Head of Marketing as the company and marketing organization expand.
