The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for i2c’s debit, credit, pre-paid and core banking products and solutions, including defining audiences, positioning, messaging, and marketing plans. The role integrates cross-functional collaboration, competitive research, and performance measurement to create product-focused content, drive lead generation campaigns, and ensure consistent product positioning across all channels to support business growth.
Strategy, Research, Planning, and Reporting:
- Define, manage, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and solutions including audience definition, product messaging & positioning, marketing strategy, and sales enablement.
- Create product-focused go-to-market (GTM) plans and roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Client Engagement, and Marketing. Ensure strategies are outcome-oriented and data-driven, leveraging metrics to inform strategy, priorities, and maintain accountability.
- Research & provide intelligence on the competitive landscape, especially how our banking & payments solutions stack up against the competition and meet our clients’ needs, communicating this value to internal teams and ensuring it is integrated/reflected in market-facing collateral.
- Measure, report, and communicate results regularly through relevant KPIs & metrics.
Content and Campaign Development and Execution:
- Drive the creation of product/solutions focused content to articulate the value proposition and benefits to the market through core messaging documentation, sales enablement materials, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, and more.
- Integrate product focused themes into marketing/lead generation campaigns to drive new business, expand existing relationships and increase revenue.
- Ensure alignment of product positioning across all channels, market-facing collateral, and client touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Marketing or related field
- 10+ years managing end-to-end product marketing in a fintech, payments or a fast-paced BaaS brand with a particular focus on marketing to the banking and credit unions segments.
- Deep understanding of the Issuing side of B2B and B2B2C Payments including debit, credit, and pre-paid as well as core banking including key themes, industry trends, customer pain points and objectives, and key market players.
- Experience simplifying a complex suite of features into a clear value proposition and defining engaging differentiated product marketing strategies.
- Results-driven, with a passion for creating product positioning that tackles business problems, advances the brand narrative, and resonates with our ideal customer.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable reviewing and analyzing business performance metrics, and ability to adjust when necessary.
