Position Overview
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Lead Project Manager with strong functional Oracle HCM expertise to lead a full-scale Oracle Fusion HCM implementation. This is not a general IT Project Manager role. The ideal candidate must be a former Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (EBS HRMS or Oracle Fusion HCM) who transitioned into a PM role and brings deep functional expertise across Core HR, Payroll, ADP integration, and HCM integrations.
The selected candidate will act as both a delivery leader and subject matter expert, guiding HR stakeholders through system design decisions, process transformation, and integration strategy.
This role requires regular interaction with senior HR and Finance leadership and demands exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required Experience
15+ years of overall Project Management experience
5+ years as an Oracle HCM Project Manager
Prior hands-on experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant (EBS HRMS or Fusion HCM)
Strong expertise in:
Core HR
Payroll
ADP Payroll Integration (Required)
HCM Integrations
Proven experience managing end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations
Strong executive-level communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion HCM Implementation Leadership
Lead and manage Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementation from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and dependencies.
Act as Oracle HCM functional SME guiding HR business teams through:
Core HR design decisions
Payroll configuration
Integration design with ADP Payroll
Process transformation initiatives
Oversee and manage third-party vendors and system integrators.
Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, action items, and decision logs.
Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of all project phases.
Lead change management efforts and organizational adoption initiatives.
Track and manage project financials and scope changes through structured change control processes.
Prepare executive-level status reports and present updates to Program Leadership.
Stakeholder & Leadership Interaction
This role reports to the Oracle Program Manager and Director of the EPMO and works closely with:
The role has enterprise-wide impact and requires collaboration across HR, Finance, and Operations.
