Job Title: Product Designer

Contract: 6-12 months with possible extension or FTE conversion

Location: Remote (US)

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing innovative browser-based AI products, conversational tools, and data-driven dashboards for internal employee use. This position is crucial in shaping user-friendly, efficient, and accessible tools that enhance our employees' productivity and engagement. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment where requirements may be fluid, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality designs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design user-centric AI products that adhere to our design system, industry best practices, and accessibility standards.

- Conduct competitive UX research to identify and define best practices within the industry.

- Create comprehensive documentation, including site maps, user personas, and user flows.

- Utilize Figma for design and prototyping to develop intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

- Present research findings and design concepts to stakeholders and leadership effectively.

- Collaborate with the UX Lead to develop reusable design system patterns and templates, ensuring consistency across all products.

- Actively participate in team critiques, providing and receiving feedback to maintain high-quality design standards.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years of experience working within and contributing to design systems; enterprise experience is preferred.

- 1+ years of professional AI design experience across multiple products.

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

- Proven expertise in Figma and FigJam, along with a working knowledge of accessibility guidelines.

- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal abilities.

- A professional portfolio showcasing relevant designs and prototypes (a link must be included in the resume or application).

Tools and Technologies:

- Figma for design and prototyping.

- FigJam for collaborative design work.

- Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.

- Familiarity with design systems and their application in enterprise environments.
