We’re a high‑trust, remote‑first engineering organization where senior engineers take end‑to‑end ownership of complex, business‑critical systems. You’ll work closely with product and design, influence architecture and technical direction, and help shape how teams across the company operate. We value clear thinking, technical rigor, direct communication, and building systems that are reliable, scalable, and easy to use.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can independently design, build, and maintain both internal systems and user‑facing applications across web and mobile. This role blends backend‑leaning engineering with full‑stack product development: you’ll work across backend services, APIs, automation, internal tools, web applications, and mobile apps.
You’ll support real business workflows across operations, research, sales, finance, and support—while also building polished user experiences for customers. You’ll turn fragmented, manual processes into well‑designed systems, and you’ll own features and services from initial concept through deployment and iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of backend services, internal tools, and full‑stack applications
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
- Build internal tools for operations, data management, reporting, integrations, and workflow automation
- Use no‑code/low‑code tools (e.g., n8n) for rapid prototyping and automation
- Build and maintain serverless and managed backend systems
- Work with platforms like Firebase, Supabase, or similar
- Design data models and work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Integrate third‑party APIs and internal systems
- Build responsive, accessible web applications using React
- Build mobile applications using React Native
- Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems (e.g., Storybook)
- Share business logic across backend, web, and mobile where appropriate
- Ensure reliability, security, performance, and maintainability across the stack
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Participate in architectural decisions and help evolve internal platforms and foundations
Who you are
- A senior engineer comfortable owning backend‑heavy and full‑stack systems independently
- Able to take a loosely defined problem through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration
- Someone who enjoys building tools and systems that other teams rely on
- A systems thinker who understands how backend, data, infrastructure, frontend, and mobile interact
- Product‑minded, with strong attention to user experience and workflow design
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and supporting ideas with reasoning and evidence
- Values candor, conscientiousness, first‑principles thinking, and clear communication
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python
- Production experience building backend services, APIs, and internal tools
- Experience with REST and/or GraphQL API design
- Proven ability to deliver backend‑leaning full‑stack systems end‑to‑end
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and API gateways
- Experience with serverless architectures and managed backend services
- Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or similar platforms
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Production experience with React for web applications
- Production experience with React Native for mobile applications
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Nice to have
- Experience shipping apps to the App Store or Play Store
- Experience with Storybook and design systems
- Shared codebases between web and mobile
- Native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin)
- Offline‑first or sync‑heavy mobile apps
- Push notifications and background tasks
- Rust for performance‑critical components
- Containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS, GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines for web, mobile, and backend
- Observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Experience integrating AI or data‑driven services
