The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work within our project team, designing and implementing advanced data science models for our customers. You will deep dive into customer’s data and build state-of-the-art production-quality solutions, applying machine learning models to generate business value and drive insights. You will actively engage with external business stakeholders to analyze business processes and work practices, and identify areas of opportunity for algorithmic and organizational innovation.

✨Expected candidate profile:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively cooperate with peers and clients to deliver agreed outcomes. Fluent business English is necessary.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data science, statistical modelling, analytics solutions.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, able to deliver clean, well-structured, readable and efficient code. Familiarity with some of the following tools and paradigms: big data (pyspark), OOP and design patterns; profiling, linting, unit testing (pytest, mypy, pydantic); Data Engineering (SQL, Apache Hive, Great expectations); Devops (Github Actions, Databricks scheduling, Azure); Agile development.
• Good understanding of business processes is required. Experience in Supply Chain and Product Supply (Planning, Demand Forecasting) is a plus. Knowledge of O9, Kinaxis, or decision automation platforms is also a bonus.
• You have great problem-solving, organization, and presentation skills. You can identify opportunities, propose new strategies, prioritize tasks, collaborate with team members and clients, and translate your findings into actions.
• You are open to learning new supply chain tools, understanding their functionalities, and performing their comparative assessment.
• A graduate or post-graduate degree in a technical or STEM field is a plus.
