We’re partnering with one of the most technically sophisticated trading firms in the world — a company that treats engineering as a competitive advantage. They’re looking for exceptional developers who thrive on solving complex problems, writing clean, high-performance code, and shaping systems that power global trading strategies in real time.
This is a FULLY REMOTE role, open to engineers anywhere in Europe or the UK who want to work with world-class technologists in a collaborative, engineering-driven culture.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain front-end trading tools and back-end systems using TypeScript, React, and Java.
- Contribute to a high-impact engineering environment where clean design, test-driven development (TDD), and code quality come first.
- Work closely with traders, quants, and other engineers to create elegant technical solutions that make a measurable impact on performance and efficiency.
- Shape architecture and tooling choices in a team that values autonomy, technical debate, and excellence.
What We’re Looking For
You’re not just an engineer — you’re a craftsperson who loves writing elegant, maintainable code and learning new technologies. You should:
- Have commercial experience with TypeScript and React.
- Have strong fundamentals in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, etc.).
- Be keen to work in Java alongside TypeScript, expanding your reach across front and back-end systems.
- Have a clear understanding of TDD and experience applying it in production environments.
- Be driven, pragmatic, and curious — you enjoy solving hard problems and owning your solutions end-to-end.
- Elite level education in Computer Science or similar from a good university - MSc or BSc
Why Join?
- Fully remote within UK – work from anywhere with exceptional flexibility.
- Low bureaucracy, high autonomy – your ideas matter here.
- Engineering-led culture where technology is at the heart of success.
- Competitive compensation + performance-based bonuses.
- Collaborate with brilliant peers in a team that believes in continual learning and technical mastery.
