Senior Data Scientist (Marketing Analytics/Causal Inference) - Remote Portugal

The project

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join an international technology-driven environment building scalable, data-centric solutions that power digital products used worldwide.

You'll work closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to drive strategic decisions through advanced analytics, experimentation, predictive modeling, and data storytelling in a collaborative, cloud-native environment.

Stack: Python, R, SQL, AWS/Azure/GCP, CausalImpact, RStan

Location: Full Remote (Portugal)

Compensation: €2,300 – €3,050/month net, depending on experience and seniority

What you need:

• Strong professional experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics
• Expert-level proficiency in Python or R
• Experience with statistical modeling, experimentation, and predictive analytics
• Hands-on experience with CausalImpact, RStan, or similar statistical libraries
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data analysis
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
• Ability to translate analytical insights into business decisions
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English

Nice to have: Databricks, Snowflake, marketing attribution models, Bayesian modeling, MLOps, cloud-native analytics, and experience working with executive leadership.
