HumanAIx – Building the Open Infrastructure for Decentralized AI

HumanAIx is a global alliance building the first open-source protocol suite for decentralized AI. Our framework connects data contributors, storage providers, compute networks, and validators into a unified, transparent AI commons — much like the Linux Foundation did for operating systems. With strong momentum from Web3 Tier1 projects and an expanding Academia Chapter, we’re laying the foundation for a fair and decentralized AI future.

The Role

We’re seeking a Marketing & Public Communications Lead who will be at the heart of how HumanAIx is perceived by the world. This is a volunteer role (until treasury is secured), ideal for someone who is mid-senior level, hands-on, and deeply aligned with our mission to democratize AI.

You’ll shape our narrative, manage communications, and build relationships across AI, Web3, and academia — ensuring HumanAIx is recognized as the neutral, open framework for decentralized AI.

What You’ll Do

Craft the Narrative: Define and communicate HumanAIx’s mission, vision, and progress across channels.
Public Relations: Manage media outreach, draft press releases, and secure thought leadership opportunities in AI + Web3 outlets.
Community Engagement: Amplify our presence on X, LinkedIn, Discord, Telegram, and other ecosystems.
Content Creation: Lead creation of blogs, newsletters, and partnership announcements (working with contributors and founding members).
Event Presence: Support HumanAIx visibility at AI & Web3 conferences (e.g., ETHGlobal, NeurIPS, AI governance events).
Partner Communication: Work closely with founding members, academia, and ecosystem partners to align messaging.

What We’re Looking For

Background in AI and/or Web3 (experience in decentralized infrastructure projects, LLM/AI communities, or open-source ecosystems is a plus).
5–8 years of relevant experience in marketing, PR, or communications.
Strong writing and storytelling ability — from technical blog posts to visionary narratives.
Hands-on and proactive: able to execute quickly, not just strategize.
A natural connector: existing network in AI/Web3 media or communities is highly valued.
Passion for open-source, decentralization, and the future of ethical AI.
