Humana Wellness IT is seeking a Sr Software Engineer who is smart, curious and loves the challenge of solving problems that improve people's lives. The Sr Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers high‑quality software solutions that address complex business and technical challenges. This role requires deep hands‑on development experience combined with a strong understanding of application and system architecture, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards while remaining practical, scalable, and maintainable.
The Sr Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high‑quality software solutions that support complex business needs. This role is highly hands‑on and requires strong proficiency in modern web and cloud technologies, distributed systems, and API‑driven architectures, combined with a solid understanding of application and system design.
The Sr Software Engineer performs technical planning, contributes to system and application design, and builds scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using established engineering best practices. This role independently makes decisions on moderately complex to complex technical challenges, exercises significant autonomy in implementation, and collaborates closely with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$106,900 - $147,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
