WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies that directly support HTI’s major donor engagement and fundraising goals. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the advancement and executive teams to optimize donor journeys, create compelling content, and enhance HTI’s presence in the human trafficking space. The Marketing Manager will ensure that HTI’s marketing efforts align with the organization’s mission and donor engagement strategies while also leveraging data and storytelling to deepen donor relationships.
Donor Engagement
- Design structured donor journeys from qualification to major donor.
- Build donor activation opportunities.
- Support donor-hosted events, with materials, follow-up strategies, and engagement tracking ensuring the events drive engagement and long-term giving.
- Track and analyze event and campaign performance, ensuring meaningful follow-ups and improved donor journeys.
- Create meaningful donor experiences, including opportunities like engagement with HTI staff, and field teams.
- Develop a referral strategy toolkit to support donor-driven outreach and expand HTI’s network.
- Conduct donor research to gain insights into donor motivations.
Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances HTI’s major donor engagement and pipeline growth for subject matter experts in the anti-trafficking field.
- Establish KPIs and tracking systems to measure marketing effectiveness and donor engagement.
- Update the brand guide, ensuring consistent voice and visuals that align with HTI’s mission.
Content & Digital Marketing
- Enhance donor-facing materials (website, social media, email campaigns, annual reports, and collateral).
- Implement digital marketing strategies to optimize donor engagement.
- Create compelling storytelling content to highlight HTI’s impact that resonates with major donors.
- Oversee the website, ensuring it serves as a powerful vetting tool with strong SEO rankings.
Campaign & Fundraising Support
- Support campaign readiness efforts.
- Support marketing needs for campaign initiatives and HTI expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to align marketing with donor stewardship strategies and fundraising.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of non-profit marketing, major-donor engagement, or communications.
- Campaign experience with the ability to support and manage campaign readiness and launch efforts independently and with a consultant.
- Experience managing websites, email marketing, and social media channels for donor engagement.
