A top client is seeking a remote-based Director of Growth Marketing and Sales Enablement to build and execute a targeted marketing and communications engine that directly supports the Business Development team and executive leadership. This role drives demand generation, payer-facing positioning, and storytelling across Medicaid and Medicare Advantage markets, while also serving as a strategic communications partner to the executive team. Success will be measured by pipeline contribution, payer engagement, executive readiness, deal support effectiveness, growth in brand impressions, and high satisfaction among internal stakeholders and employees.

As the Director of Growth Marketing and Sales Enablement, you are responsible for:

Marketing & Lead Generation (Primary)

• Design and execute marketing strategies targeted to Medicaid MCOs, D-SNP plans, and regional and national payer organizations.

• Build and manage lead generation programs, including thought leadership, account-based marketing (ABM), conferences/events, and targeted digital outreach with the desired outcome of filling the funnel.

• Partner with Business Development to define target accounts, buyer personas, and campaign sequencing aligned to active and future sales pursuits.

• Own marketing support for relationship-building and payer engagement efforts.

• Maintain a repository of marketing collateral and intellectual property.

Communications, Positioning & Messaging

• Own the company’s payer-facing narrative and enterprise value proposition.

• Implement the company’s brand strategy.

• Manage thought leadership and social media channels,

• Differentiate the company’s model versus traditional DME and delegated vendor approaches.

• Develop and maintain executive-ready BD materials, including one-pagers, leave-behinds, case studies, and capability decks.

• Ensure consistent, compliant messaging across all payer, partner, and public-facing channels.

Executive Team & Strategic Support

• Serve as a strategic communications partner to the executive leadership team, including the CEO and Chief Growth Officer.

• Prepare executive-level materials for board meetings, investor discussions, high-stakes payer meetings, and strategic partners.

• Translate complex strategy, market dynamics, and performance data into clear executive narratives and presentations.

• Support executive thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and external positioning as needed.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights

• In partnership with the VP of Growth and Strategy, lead ongoing market research and competitive intelligence on payer trends, RFP activity, and state-specific Medicaid dynamics.

• Translate market insights into actionable messaging, sales enablement tools, and strategic recommendations for leadership.

Sales Enablement & Deal Support

• Act as a strategic extension of the Business Development team during high-value payer pursuits.

• Support deal progression with tailored materials, pilot framing, and value-based positioning.

• Collaborate on account planning, market entry strategy, and growth prioritization.

• Maintain Salesforce oversight for the Growth team, including required modifications.

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

• 8–12+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related strategy roles, preferably in healthcare organizations selling to managed care plans.

• Demonstrated experience supporting executive teams and payer-facing business development.

• Strong understanding of Medicaid managed care and/or Medicare Advantage markets.

• Ability to distill complex healthcare and operational models into clear, compelling narratives for executives and payers.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
