HudsonLake is currently seeking a passionate, well-rounded Designer to join our award-winning, in-house creative team. We’re looking for a strong conceptual and strategic leader and someone who can execute bold design in all media. This is a remote role perfect for a Designer who moves seamlessly across print, digital, video, web — and loves collaborating to bring big ideas to life.
As a Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of high-impact brands and campaigns. From concept to execution, you’ll work with our team of art directors, writers, videographers, project managers, and web developers to design work that moves people for our clients.
You’ll report to the Chief Creative Officer. While the role is remote, we are ideally looking for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones or willing to work these business hours.

- Execute high-quality design projects across print, digital, video, and UX with a knowledge of web design best practices
- Develop and refine brand platforms — including logos, color palettes, and visual identities
- Collaborate closely with our creative and account team as a true strategic partner
- Translate creative strategy into compelling, on-brand design solutions
- Pay sharp attention to detail and deadlines
- Produce production-ready assets and manage vendor deliverables
- Bring new ideas to the table — whether it’s a smarter way to work or three different executions from one strategy
- Stay ahead of design trends and tools to keep our work fresh and relevant, especially with AI
- Support client relationships through thoughtful, strategic visual communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- An online portfolio that clearly demonstrates your experience
- 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency or in-house team
- A strong portfolio that spans print, digital, and web design
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Figma, Canva, or other UX tools
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint
- Excellent visual and typographic instincts
- Confidence in presenting your work and thinking strategically about design
- Experience with production processes and vendor management
- Bonus: Motion or video editing chops — i.e., After Effects
Benefits
- 90% employer-covered premium on healthcare coverage with Aetna Healthcare, including vision, dental, and Rx
- 100% employer-covered premiums on Life insurance, AD&D, and STD (Short-Term Disability)
- 401(k) employer plan with employer safe harbor match and discretionary profit sharing
- Flexible vacation policy plus all Federal holidays (11) plus the week* between Christmas and New Year’s (*based on workload, this holiday week is not guaranteed)
