Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions. This role requires proficiency in various engineering software tools and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement collector substation projects with a focus on renewable energy generation andintegration.
Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure optimal performance and reliability ofsubstations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Perform equipment selection, layout design, and technical evaluations for substation components.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Provide technical support and guidance during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project requirements and ensure proper implementation.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and substation engineering practices.

Experience

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
5+ years of experience in substation engineering, with at least one year on the generation side.
Experience from a consulting company rather than a utility.Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems and their integration with substations.
Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
