About Host Guest
Host Guest is a U.S.-based housing startup launched in 2024 and officially registered in the state of Georgia in 2025. Our platform helps international students, out-of-state students, and cultural travelers find safe and welcoming homes with trusted host families across the United States. We are currently preparing for our national launch in August 2025 with an active team of interns across product, design, tech, and outreach.
The Role
We are hiring a Marketing Manager to lead the full marketing pod at Host Guest. This is the only manager role in the department and comes with serious responsibility, visibility, and leadership potential. You will directly manage three content creation interns, three digital marketing interns, and one social media marketing intern.
You will be responsible for shaping and managing the company’s pre-launch marketing campaigns, aligning with the product and PR teams, and ensuring the brand builds a strong online presence that converts into trust, visibility, and engagement. You must be prepared to lead meetings, manage priorities, assign content deliverables, and think like a startup marketer.
This is a high-trust, high-reward position. If your performance meets expectations, we are highly likely to offer a full-time leadership role after the internship period.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all intern-level marketing teams, including content, digital, and social media
• Lead weekly check-ins and strategic alignment meetings
• Develop campaign calendars and oversee execution timelines
• Collaborate with the product, design, and PR teams to ensure unified messaging
• Monitor performance metrics and report on content impact across platforms
• Guide content creation aligned with brand tone and audience expectations
• Assist in basic campaign budgeting, ad spend recommendations, and growth strategy
• Create a positive and productive team culture that motivates all marketing contributors
• Provide feedback to interns and support them in meeting quality standards and deadlines
• Help build a meaningful, engaged online community for the Host Guest brand
Qualifications
• Must be based in the United States
• Minimum three years of experience in marketing, campaign strategy, or brand management
• Proven experience in leading teams or coordinating marketing functions
• Strong knowledge of campaign planning, scheduling, and performance tracking
• Familiarity with basic ad budgeting and growth analytics
• Confident in writing, editing, and providing content direction
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with remote team tools such as Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
• Bonus: startup experience, cross-platform campaign work, or multicultural marketing insight

Compensation & Growth Opportunity
• 20 hours per week
• Timeline: July 10th to Sep 6th, 2025
• Flat compensation: $2,000 for the full contract duration
• Additional $500 bonus potential tied to performance and company milestones
• Strong potential for transition into a full-time marketing leadership role post-launch
