Position Overview:
As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that engage, convert, and retain customers. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, automation, and analytics to drive measurable results. You will work closely with the marketing team, creative departments, and product managers to ensure that email communications align with company goals and deliver personalized experiences to our audience.
🔍 About the Role:
- Develop & Execute Email Campaigns: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, transactional messages, and drip campaigns. Tailor content to the needs of different customer segments.
- Segmentation & Targeting: Utilize customer data to segment email lists effectively and personalize campaigns based on demographics, behaviors, and preferences.
- Automation & Workflows: Set up and optimize automated email workflows (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement) to nurture leads and guide them through the customer journey.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing on email subject lines, copy, visuals, and CTAs to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and generate regular reports for key stakeholders. Provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with content creators, designers, and product teams to create visually appealing, mobile-friendly emails that align with the brand’s voice and marketing goals.
- List Management & Growth: Manage and clean email lists to ensure high deliverability rates and minimal bounce rates. Implement strategies for growing the email subscriber base through lead-generation tactics.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and email marketing tools to ensure campaigns are innovative and effective.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful email campaigns.
- Expertise in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.) and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and targeting techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to optimize email performance.
- Proficient in analyzing email campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and generating actionable insights.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design (preferred, but not required).
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling email copy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Familiarity with GDPR and other privacy regulations related to email marketing.
