This is a remote position, contracted through either our UK or Ireland entities. You must have full right to work in either UK or Ireland.
Salary: circa £60,000-£70,000 GBP
An innovative and rapidly scaling data and SaaS company, providing business verification services to Financial Crime teams in banks, law firms, payments service providers and other regulated entities. Their solution is a single access point to a live network of over 300 global corporate registries, through which we provide accurate data, integrated with innovative workflow tools. They were recently named a ‘Category Leader for KYC Data Solutions’ and after a year of record growth, have big plans to expand.
They are looking for a talented and driven Intermediate Software Engineer to join their growing development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise-level applications and services. You'll be working primarily with .NET (C#) and SQL Server, building APIs and backend logic to support dynamic, scalable solutions.

As a Software Engineer you will:
- Design, build, and maintain robust .NET-based applications and APIs.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C#.
- Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and database structures in SQL Server.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
- Assist in integrating APIs and third-party services.
- Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
- Maintain high standards for code quality and best practices.
Requirements:
Essential
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in .NET / C# development
- Solid experience with SQL Server: writing queries, stored procedures
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage)
- Front-end development experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
