We are seeking a dynamic Lead Visual Designer with a strong focus on launching new design products and driving business growth. This individual should be forward-thinking, adept at managing teams, and capable of making a significant impact from day one. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our high-growth digital marketing agency, specializing in digital ads, landing page design, physical mailers, and email campaigns, particularly within the automotive industry.

Our ideal candidate has an extensive portfolio of digital marketing designs, has experience in web content graphics and social media ads, and has successfully launched design-based products and services. We are looking for someone who loves to experiment and explore new ways of approaching problems. Our team loves to experiment and challenge conventional thinking, and we want someone that fits that mold.

About you:

You should have an understanding of market strategies, productization, and development, and possess an eye for quality.
You must have a passion for clean, modern design aesthetics and a clear understanding of balance and negative space.
A great attitude, collaborative spirit, and openness to giving and receiving feedback are essential.
You should have tons of experience working with modern digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
Outstanding communication skills are a must.
Strong UX copywriting skills are required to blend design and content for the ultimate user experience.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

You will develop new products, explore competitive options, and ensure that Honest Digital provides the best designs in the industry.
Lead a team of designers to ensure quality work is delivered on time, develop training curriculum, and provide effective feedback.
You will represent your department in all company meetings and lead through example.
Develop best-in-class modern website designs with a mobile-first approach.
Design engaging and effective product, category, and landing pages based on creative briefs.
Create innovative templates that align with customer brand standards and style guides.
Create Social Media Assets (FB Ads, Display Ads, Instagram Assets) that represent our brand extremely well.
Seamlessly blend visual storytelling and branding with UI/UX best practices.
Develop and maintain the website style guide to ensure visual consistency and front-end development efficiency.
Work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
Stay up to date on industry evolution in print, web, and mobile environments.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

3 - 5+ years’ experience in creative web, social media and/or display.
3 - 5+ years management experience, including product development.
Strong marketing storytelling and responsive design skills
Strong proficiency in design software, including:
Figma
Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) along with proficiency in HTML layout
CSS is a big plus, but not required.
High-Level Understanding of:
Brand Design
Typography
Layout Design
Color Theory
Marketing fundamentals
UI/UX fundamentals
Very organized, self-motivated and deadline-oriented attitude.
Illustration skills (bonus!)
