We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager, Intelligence & Strategy to join our commercial strategy team in a high-impact, field-based role. This position sits at the intersection of sales, policy, and strategic planning—responsible for shaping HiTHIUM's commercial positioning across target markets while bringing real-time regional insights back to headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive competitor benchmarking and pricing intelligence across both mature markets (e.g., ERCOT, CAISO) and emerging regions through personal connections and strategic networking.
- Track and analyze market development trends across key regions, with particular focus on identifying stakeholders and emerging opportunities.
- Gauge competitor activities and identify critical market shifts that impact HiTHIUM's strategic positioning.
- Transform market data into actionable insights that drive commercial decision-making and strategic planning.
Regional Strategy & Positioning
- Support localization narrative in the North America, staying ahead of hot-topic issues including tariffs, local manufacturing requirements, and cybersecurity regulations.
- Drive market development initiatives across LATAM focusing on stakeholder identification and supporting sales teams in building robust regional opportunity pipelines.
- Develop and execute region-specific go-to-market strategies aligned with local market maturity, policy structures, and HiTHIUM's established presence.
Policy Engagement & Industry Leadership
- Actively participate in and influence policy direction through key industry associations including ACP, SEIA, and state-level regulatory forums.
- Shape external market narrative around critical topics including energy storage pricing, safety standards, localization requirements, and evolving policy frameworks.
- Serve as HiTHIUM's voice in regional policy discussions and industry working groups.
Internal Collaboration & Support
- Provide customized analysis and market intelligence to support business development teams with real-time insights and strategic guidance.
- Drive internal alignment between regional insights and HiTHIUM's global strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure market intelligence informs product development, pricing strategies, and commercial planning.
- Facilitate proactive identification and communication of market risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: Deep working knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), system configurations, and LCOE/LCOS optimization factors.
- Experience: 5-8+ years of relevant experience in energy storage, renewable energy markets, policy analysis, or strategic consulting within the clean energy sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Policy Studies, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Proven understanding of North American and Latin American energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with experience translating complex market data into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
- Network: Established relationships within the energy storage industry, policy circles, and key market stakeholders preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions (up to 50-60%) to maintain market presence and stakeholder relationships.
- Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities across diverse markets.
