Our client is a leading provider in the Utility Bedding industry, focused on supporting major U.S. retail programs. They are seeking a detail-oriented professional to execute clear, accurate, and commercially effective design materials for accounts like Walmart, Costco, and Sam’s Club.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Utility Designer to support our Utility Bedding division. This role is focused on executing clear, accurate, and commercially effective design materials—including sell sheets, tech packs, packaging layouts, and retailer-ready presentations—for major U.S. retail programs. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure design integrity and retail compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sell sheets, line sheets, and retail presentations for major U.S. accounts (Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, etc.).

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical packs (tech packs) for all utility products to ensure production accuracy.

• Develop and update packaging layouts, dielines, and artwork files based on PD and sales direction.

• Translate technical product specifications into clear, factory-ready documentation.

• Ensure all materials meet specific retailer requirements and compliance standards.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, and Production teams.

• Revise materials quickly based on feedback and tight deadlines.

• Maintain organized file structures and rigorous version control across all projects.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 3-7+ years of experience in product design, packaging design, or technical design.

• Proven experience working with major U.S. retailers and/or consumer products.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Required) and Adobe Photoshop

• Comfortable working remotely with U.S.-based teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills (Required)

• Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

• Tech pack creation and product specification documentation.

• Dielines and packaging structures (bags, boxes, PDQs).

• Sell sheets, line sheets, and retail-ready presentations.

• Knowledge of retail compliance standards and production-ready file preparation.

Tools & Systems

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)

• Time tracking: Hubstaff & ClickUp

• Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator

• 3D Modeling Software: CAD, Blender
