Data Engineer

• Moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp) and UNIX experience Software Enterprise Application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code

• Experience of Banking/ Financial technology domain will be preferred

• Collaborate with scrum stake holders to implement modernized and sustainable technology roadmaps.

• Analyze technical requirements and implement the software solutions.

• Actively contribute to building next generation solutions for Commercial Banking Services, Digital & Payment channels, enhancing the service levels of current solutions.

• Designs, codes, tests, debug and document software according to Wells Fargo Standards, policies, procedures, security and compliance requirements.

• Must have good understanding of current and future trends and practices in Technology.

• Resolves Application issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

• Proactively manage risk through implementation of right controls and escalate where required.

• Work with Engineering manager, product owner and Team to ensure that the product is delivered with quality, on time and within budget.

• Work with internal IT Teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments.

• Strong Verbal and written communication skills should be able to work in global development environment
