About the position:

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in visual design for both digital and print media, with hands-on experience taking websites from wireframes to fully developed mockups. A solid grasp of current web design trends and best practices is essential. Familiarity with CSS and WordPress is a plus. Knowledge of search marketing—particularly SEO—or at least a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design compelling visuals for websites, social media, display ads, email campaigns, and print materials.
• Develop wireframes, layouts, and high-fidelity website mockups aligned with modern design standards.
• Collaborate with developers to bring designs to life, applying knowledge of WordPress and CSS best practices.
• Create and maintain brand style guides, including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand asset usage.
• Ensure consistent branding across all channels and platforms.
• Apply photo editing and art direction to strengthen visual storytelling.
• Partner with the marketing team to conceptualize and design campaigns that connect with target audiences.
• Support social media graphics with light copywriting when needed.
• Stay informed on design trends, UX best practices, and new technologies to integrate fresh, innovative ideas.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with leading design tools such as Canva, Creatopy, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in visual design, with a portfolio highlighting web design (wireframes to mockups) and branding work.
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, web design best practices, and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and CSS (a plus, but not required).
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and how design impacts search visibility.
• Advanced photo editing and art direction skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
