About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing AI startup building an intelligent document platform. This is a purely hands-on, individual contributor role — not a people management position. You’ll work closely with a small, lean team, owning technical initiatives end-to-end and delivering production-ready features that are demoed directly to customers. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, takes ownership, and has deep, proven experience building AI agents, RAG systems, and knowledge graphs.

What You’ll Do:

Design, build, and maintain AI agents and RAG-based systems powering the core product.
Implement and optimize knowledge graphs for document understanding and retrieval.
Develop backend services primarily in Python, with contributions across the stack.
Work with Node.js and React as part of a full-stack environment.
Own features end-to-end, from technical design to production deployment.
Deliver demo-ready outputs for customer presentations and sales enablement.
Collaborate asynchronously with a small, senior team with minimal oversight.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practices.

Must-Have Requirements:

Strong, hands-on experience with AI agents and RAG systems (clearly demonstrated in past projects).
Experience building and working with knowledge graphs.
Advanced proficiency in Python.
Working experience with Node.js and React.
Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of deliverables.
Professional English (for collaboration with U.S. stakeholders).
Native or fluent Spanish (preferred, for team cohesion).
