This is a full remote job as a contractor.

This role is with our client, a distinguished institution with over 30 years of expertise in offering advanced graduate programs in Psychology, Education, and Business. They provide innovative hybrid and online formats tailored for working professionals, aiming to support their career growth and personal advancement.

About the role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Marketer to support the Digital Marketing Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Play an active role in the ongoing development of the University’s marketing strategy, to meet the needs of an ever-changing landscape.
  • Build and launch Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Instagram/Meta campaigns.
  • Collect, review, and analyze data in Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn campaign manager, Meta, and PowerBI.
  • Analyze ad effectiveness and report findings. Include proposals for strategy adjustments to achieve improved results, as needed.
  • Make use of data and market research to inform promotional plan proposals both independently and in alignment with broader University marketing strategies.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish social media content.
  • Manage all paid and organic social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and writers to produce engaging and compelling copy, images, and videos.
  • Adhere to the University’s brand and image.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

Must-Haves:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced competency with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram/Meta campaigns, Google Analytics, and PowerBI.
  • Experience creating and posting social media content, while strategizing for success.
  • Experience with paid ads across multiple platforms and working with marketing budgets.
  • Experience with segmented email marketing.
  • An understanding of marketing data analytics.
  • Ability to pivot strategies and reassess priorities gracefully.
  • Ability to work asynchronously, self-manage, and take initiative.
  • Strong internet connection, quality camera and microphone.
  • Available to work 8 hours per day, five days per week, during standard Pacific Time working hours.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • A relevant degree.
  • Experience working in high growth startups.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience with developing and strategizing for segmented audiences.
  • Working competency with Notion, Figma, and/or Mailchimp.

Schedule:

  • Working Hours: Full Time, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM PST/PDT (includes a 30-minute lunch break).

What’s in it for you?

  • Unpaid time off can be approved as needed.
  • Paid Holidays: Five public holidays.
  • Paid Breaks: The entire week of American Thanksgiving and two weeks during Christmas and New Year's.

Compensation:

  • $18,000 - $32,000 US dollars per year - Please note that the final salary offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
