ServiceNow Developer & Consultant (Remote ā India)

Our client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer who can also act as a consultant to global customers. This role involves working on ServiceNow Store applications, handling development, troubleshooting, and client support.
You will work across two ServiceNow Store applications, taking ownership of development, maintenance, integrations, and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
š¹ Application Ownership
Understand existing ServiceNow Store applications, including architecture, data models, and integrations, and manage their ongoing development and enhancements.
š¹ ServiceNow Development
Develop and debug components such as:
š¹ Customer Consulting
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them troubleshoot issues, configure applications, and implement best practices.
š¹ Integrations & Data Management
Work with REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data synchronization workflows.
š¹ Continuous Improvement
Identify bugs, recommend enhancements, and ensure applications meet ServiceNow Store certification standards.
Required Skills & Experience
ā 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
ā Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax)
ā Experience with ServiceNow architecture and application development
ā Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations
ā Experience with CMDB, ITSM, or Asset Management modules
ā Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
ā Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
ā Ability to work independently in a remote environment
ā Based in India with reliable internet connectivity
Nice to Have
ā ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or CSA
ā Experience working on ServiceNow Store applications
ā Prior customer-facing or consulting experience
