About The Role

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Director, Social Media & Content Marketing to join our Brand Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the strategy, growth, and impact of our organic social media, YouTube, and podcast efforts for the Hims and Hers brands.

About You

You are ambitious and passionate about building the #1 followed healthcare channels across our consumers’ favorite social media platforms, YouTube, and podcasts. You are equal parts people leader, creative strategist & organic growth hacker. You’re steeped in the cultural zeitgeist but grounded in business objectives; you’ve spent your career winning over the algorithm through data-driven testing and have conviction in how that engagement drives brand love. You’ve proven again and again that you can take a business objective and turn it into a social media & content marketing plan that doesn’t just drive outsized engagement, but accelerates business results.

You Will

  • Lead a team of social media strategists and community builders
  • Develop and shepherd the success of a comprehensive social media & content marketing strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives
  • Serve as the senior thought leader on social media and content marketing trends, platform innovations, growth, and measurement best practices
  • Leverage analytics and insights to optimize campaigns and inform strategic decisions
  • Work cross-functionally with key partners across Brand, Integrated Marketing, PR, Product Marketing, and more to ensure how we show up across our content marketing platforms is consistent and on-strategy
  • Lead your team to be equal parts creative and analytical, providing creative partners with the right strategic inputs to develop work that breaks through the cultural zeitgeist and drives business impact
  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback to guide creative development and ensure efficacy of creative execution against our objectives

You Have

  • 12-15+ years of experience in social media
  • Proven experience leading large-scale social strategies for a major brand
  • Deep expertise in platform algorithms, emerging trends, channel best practices, and audience behavior
  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in social analytics, reporting, and performance measurement
  • Proven track record of building and scaling brands through creative storytelling
  • Comfort navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
