Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Product Designer/Product Lead to design and lead the development of our client-facing product: the Growth Brain interface. This role is pivotal in creating intuitive, powerful, and visually compelling experiences that empower clients to harness our AI-driven insights seamlessly. You will collaborate closely with our founding team of mathematicians, AI/ML engineers, and growth experts to build products that rival the sophistication of Palantir and the usability of Mixpanel, tailored for leading B2C companies in e-commerce, retail, and fintech.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Design: Lead the end-to-end design of client-facing products, including the AI Growth Brain’s conversational dashboard, growth audit scorecards, and AI agent interfaces (e.g., Churn Reduction, Profit Enhancement). Create intuitive, data-rich, and visually stunning UI/UX that simplifies complex growth insights for executives and teams.
• User Research & Prototyping: Conduct user research with clients to understand their needs and workflows. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with our Axiomatic Growth Framework and enhance client adoption.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI/ML engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for real-time data visualization, predictive insights, and conversational AI interactions. Work with growth leaders to align product features with client priorities.
• Design Systems: Build and maintain a scalable design system inspired by the precision of Bloomberg and Palantir, ensuring consistency across all client touchpoints while allowing flexibility for custom client needs.
• Client Engagement: Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine interfaces that drive engagement and trust. Ensure the product experience reflects Hilbert’s mission to make growth a “fun, solvable journey.”
• Product Leadership: Define the product roadmap for client-facing features, prioritizing usability, scalability, and innovation. Advocate for design-driven decisions that enhance the AI Growth Brain’s value proposition.
• Innovation & Iteration: Stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies, integrating best practices from industry leaders like Mixpanel and Palantir to keep our products cutting-edge. Provide feedback to improve the self-learning AI system through enhanced user interactions.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years in product design, UI/UX, or product management, with a focus on data-intensive, client-facing SaaS products or enterprise platforms (e.g., Palantir, Bloomberg, Mixpanel).
• Proven track record of designing intuitive interfaces for complex data visualizations, dashboards, or conversational AI systems.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to ship high-quality products in fast-paced, startup environments.
• Familiarity with B2C industries (e-commerce, retail, fintech) and growth-related metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, ROAS).

Skills:

• Mastery of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with a strong portfolio showcasing data-driven UI/UX projects.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to translate technical AI/ML concepts into accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging clients or stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a high-growth startup.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or technical backgrounds (e.g., Engineering, Data Science) are a plus.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience designing for AI-driven or machine learning products.
• Background working with startups or scaleups, ideally with unicorn DNA.
• Familiarity with growth tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau) or data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery).

Location

• Remote (US-based preferred), with occasional travel for client meetings, user research, and team offsites.
