About the Back End Developer Role

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build and maintain highly resilient, flexible and scalable architecture by collaborating closely with PM
• Ensure team makes solid technical decisions and team output is high quality
• Review code to ensure technical implementation meets functional requirements
• Develop, test, document and release full-stack, end-to-end features
• Participate in sprint planning and getting work done in two-week sprints
• Participate in code reviews as well as post-deployment site monitoring
• Research and evaluate new technologies that may improve our processes or code bases
• Passionate about solving hard problems using data-driven solutions
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer with Python (Javascript, TypeScript experience is a plus)
• Experience supporting a web application product in Production environments
• You have experience working as a part of a team with Product, Project Managers, stakeholders, Q/A, and other Engineers
• You are always learning new things and are excited to dive into new projects and new technologies
• You make a habit of documenting your code and learnings
• Proficient speaking and writing in English
