High Five is hiring on behalf of our client – a leading global robotics and automation company with its headquarters in Asia and a growing international presence.We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working remotely with occasional on-site meetings. You will play a key part in building and optimizing enterprise-grade applications that support global robotics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance applications using Java.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during development and deployment.
• Continuously improve code quality, optimize performance, and enhance system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking, I/O, multithreading, and JVM fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and MyBatis frameworks.
• Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork.
• Fluent in English for business communication; Mandarin (intermediate level) is required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for short-term business trips.
