High Desert Print Co is a small California apparel print shop that specializes in design and custom apparel production. We offer custom print services for businesses, schools, and organizations. In addition, our retail brand, Island View Outfitters, is our creative endeavor, a vintage inspired brand that sells apparel based on nature, surf, and the California coast. The Role:

The Senior Design role requires a strong talent for t-shirt design, branding, typography, and illustrations. This role takes responsibility for design and design management, understanding customer design requests and maintaining an efficient workflow process to allow acceptable and timely delivery on design assets.

Create t-shirt graphics based on customer requests.
Utilize specific hand-illustration styles, typography, and graphic styles to achieve the desired look.
Manage the workflow and progress of designs based on completion dates.
Assist in branding and creative projects with our customers.
Have a strong sense of design based on our vintage brand style and ethos
Assist in creative digital marketing and website graphics, when required.

Requirements:

Preferred graphic design and illustration experience (7+ years)
Strong ability to write and verbally communicate effectively in English.
Demonstrated expertise on branding, design principles, logo design, and use of typography
Excellent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate
Drawing/ Hand Illustration, understanding of design styles and different approaches
Knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, and production process.
Detail-Oriented and organized
Ability to multitask

Contract Type:
