A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its expanding Data & Analytics team. This organization is continuing to invest in data, analytics, and AI capabilities to help business leaders make smarter decisions, improve operational performance, and uncover opportunities across the organization.
This is a highly visible, business-facing analytics role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems rather than simply producing reports. The Senior Data Analyst will serve as an internal analytics consultant, partnering with teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance to translate business challenges into measurable analytical questions and actionable solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics capabilities with business acumen and communication skills. You'll independently lead analytical projects, collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other analysts, and help stakeholders use data more effectively to drive decisions and improve business processes. This can be a hybrid onsite/remote (3 days/week in-office or 100% remote, if out of state)
General Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand objectives, identify challenges, and define analytical requirements.
- Translate complex or loosely defined business questions into measurable hypotheses, analytical projects, and actionable solutions.
- Lead analytics initiatives from initial scoping and requirements gathering through analysis, recommendations, and presentation of findings.
- Perform advanced analysis to uncover trends, relationships, opportunities, and potential areas of business improvement.
- Apply statistical analysis, segmentation, A/B testing, and other analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops to validate requirements, findings, and recommended solutions.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and help improve data literacy throughout the organization.
- Evaluate emerging analytics and AI capabilities and help determine how new technologies can improve the delivery of business insights.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in an analytical position such as Senior Data Analyst, Lead Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Scientist.
- Strong experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and translating business problems into analytical solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience using Python and/or R for data analysis.
- Hands-on experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Looker.
- Familiarity with AI agents and their application in delivering analytics and insights to business users.
- Preferred Experience with: GCP cloud data platforms and modern data warehousing, A/B testing design and analysis, building or tuning AI models used for analytics and reporting.
