About the Role

HiCounselor is hiring for one of our clients seeking a Python & AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems leveraging machine learning and deep learning techniques. This role requires strong Python development expertise combined with AI/ML engineering experience.

You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to integrate AI into real-world applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about applying AI to solve business problems.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models in production (using APIs, pipelines, or cloud frameworks).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
Ensure clean, maintainable code by following best practices, code reviews, and version control (Git).
Research and adopt emerging AI/ML techniques to enhance products.
Document architecture, models, and performance metrics.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Monitor deployed models to ensure reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions with Python.
Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas).
Strong foundation in statistics, algorithms, and model evaluation.
Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and large datasets.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency with Git or version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Awareness of ethical AI, privacy, explainability, and bias detection.

Preferred:

Experience with MLOps, AutoML platforms, or distributed computing.
Contributions to open-source AI projects.
Knowledge of advanced model validation, A/B testing, and fairness evaluation.
