As the Digital Marketing/Sales Specialist, you play a dual role in both empowering external radio sales teams with digital sales enablement and directly managing the end-to-end sales process for clients requiring full-service digital sales support. Your expertise is critical in driving the adoption and effective use of the Client's Reach platform and executing digital sales strategies that enhance both external sales capabilities and client's own sales initiatives. You will step in after a radio salesperson identifies a digital opportunity, taking charge from pitch to deal closure, campaign fulfillment, and post-campaign analysis with the aim of renewing client engagements for future campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Service Digital Sales Management: Lead the end-to-end digital sales process for clients, including meeting with clients to pitch and negotiate deals, signing insertion orders, and collecting necessary campaign collateral.
Sales Support for New Customers: Assist sales team in developing and executing effective sales strategies to sell Reach licenses
Collaboration with Sales Leaders: Work closely with external radio sales leaders to identify training needs, develop sales strategies, and monitor team progress.
Sales Team Training and Onboarding: Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for both new and existing external radio sales teams to enhance their digital sales skills.
Ongoing Sales Coaching: Provide continuous coaching and support, including participating in three-legged sales calls and funnel meetings, to external radio sales teams.
Deliver Sales Enablement Services: Deliver chargeable services, such as advanced sales training, strategy workshops, and personalized coaching sessions, for external sales teams.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives and the performance of both external and internal sales teams.
Market Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends in digital advertising and sales techniques to ensure cutting-edge sales approaches.
Feedback and Improvement: Gather and incorporate feedback from external sales teams to refine sales enablement strategies and materials continuously.
Project Management: Manage timelines and deliverables for custom enterprise projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Proven experience in digital sales and sales enablement, particularly in a media or advertising context.
Demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies and lead a sales team to achieve targets.
Strong understanding of digital advertising sales and marketing principles.
Experience in conducting sales training and coaching.
