Content Marketing Manager

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Salary: $70,000–$80,000

About the position

HeyOrca’s looking for a creative Content Marketing Manager to own and scale our content engine. You’ll create content that drives awareness about HeyOrca among our target community of social media managers and boutique agencies, provides value, and converts our community into product users. You’ll own the end-to-end content program, from strategy to writing to publishing.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll have full ownership of our content programs, everything from strategy to execution.

• Lead our daily newsletter – grow readership and increase trials by publishing timely, engaging content that helps social media managers succeed while positioning HeyOrca as an essential industry tool.
• Build our SEO/AEO-friendly content engine – increase traffic, awareness, and conversions to free trials by creating and executing a content plan that answers typically asked questions, provides actionable guidance for SMMs, and highlights how HeyOrca’s features solve real-world challenges.
• Build practical tools – increase adoption and engagement by creating plug-and-play templates, worksheets, and resources that help social media managers achieve results while naturally encouraging HeyOrca usage and plan upgrades.
• Grow our video presence on our Academy and YouTube – increase engagement, product adoption, and user success by creating educational videos that teach social media best practices while naturally incorporating HeyOrca features and workflows.
• Analyze content performance – track metrics, gather insights, and optimize strategies to increase user engagement, trial conversions, and overall product adoption.

What you bring

• 3–5 years in content marketing, copywriting, or a related role.
• Strong writing/editing skills, with proven past results (traffic, trials)
• Experience with SEO/AEO strategy and tools.
• Knowledge of the social media landscape (experience in it is a plus)
• Comfort creating/managing video content (YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Experience with online courses or training content.
• Strong project management and ability to work independently.
• An interest in staying ahead of the ever shifting content trends
