Based in Australia, we are a collective of 100+ musicians, videographers, photographers, and creatives delivering unique wedding experiences across the country. Behind the scenes, we are building powerful digital systems that simplify the wedding planning journey for couples and streamline operations for our team.

Our focus is not only on beautiful events but also on building modern technology to support the wedding industry.

We currently have a team of 2 full time developers building our internal platforms, and we are now looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to help elevate the design and usability of our digital products.

The Role

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who wants to play a key role in shaping the digital experience behind one of Australia’s leading wedding service platforms.

This role combines ongoing design improvement, product thinking, and new platform development. You will work closely with our internal development team to elevate the usability, visual design, and structure of our digital systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Website Design & Improvements

Maintaining and evolving the design of our website, www.heyjack.com.au. This includes ongoing UX improvements, new page designs, and ensuring the site continues to feel modern, intuitive, and visually compelling.

Back-End CRM & Event Platform Design

Working on the design and user experience of our custom built back-end event management software used by our team, contractors, and clients. This platform powers many of the internal systems that support our weddings and operations.

New Consumer Platform Design

Leading the UI/UX design of a brand new consumer focused platform currently in development. This product will help couples plan and manage key elements of their wedding journey. You will be involved in shaping the design from the early stages through to full product rollout.

You will work across the full design lifecycle including user flows, wireframes, high fidelity UI design, and Figma design systems, collaborating closely with our development team to bring these experiences to life.

Who You Are

Experienced and Product Minded - You have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally working on digital products, platforms, or SaaS style systems.

Your portfolio should demonstrate:

• Strong modern website design

• Experience designing dashboards, portals, or back-end systems

• A strong understanding of user flows and product UX

• Advanced Figma skills including components and design systems

You enjoy thinking beyond individual screens and are comfortable designing end to end product experiences.
